One of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, and former Denver Bronco, Peyton Manning, is joining the Denver NWSL ownership group. The five-time NFL MVP and two-time Super Bowl champion will join another Colorado sports legend Mikaela Shiffrin in an ownership group led by Denver businessman Rob Cohen.
“It’s a real honor to be part of something so meaningful to the Colorado community,” Manning said in a Tuesday press release. “I’m proud to support the growth of women’s sports and excited to help build a club that our city and our state can rally behind.”
NWSL Denver released a video announcing the news that features Manning and his Brother, Eli. Since retiring, the brothers have hosted “ESPN’s Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli.”
Manning owns Omaha Productions that produces the show, along with other series. Denver NWSL will begin play in 2026.
